Incredibly Small – Feature Film
Incredibly Small is a micro-budget independent feature about love, ambition, and the quiet pressure of growing up — all unfolding inside a single, claustrophobic apartment.
Written and directed by Dean Peterson, the film stars Susan Burke as Anne, a sharp, driven law student, and Stephen Gurewitz as Amir, her well-meaning but ultimately incompetant boyfriend who is an escalator attendent by day and dreams of being a sculptor by night. When the two move in together, their tiny apartment becomes a pressure cooker, forcing them to confront mismatched ambition, unspoken resentments, and what it really means to support someone else’s dreams.
The film features Amy Seimetz (The Girlfriend Experience), Alex Karpovsky (Girls), Alex Rennie, Ron Lynch, and Bob Byington.
Shot almost entirely in one real apartment, Incredibly Small embraces the constraints of DIY filmmaking: using limitation as a creative engine rather than a setback. The result is an intimate, funny, and quietly devastating portrait of a relationship at a crossroads.
